The Twin Falls Coronerโ€™s Office has identified the man shot and killed by police last month as 29-year-old Colton Copeland. Police say the April 29th incident followed a stabbing investigation and remains under review by the Critical Incident Task Force.

Incumbent Idaho Governor Brad Little has raised more campaign money than any other statewide candidate this year, bringing in 1-point-8 million dollars ahead of the May 19th primary election. Former Idaho Supreme Court Justice John Stegner leads Littleโ€™s challengers in fundraising so far.

โš– DAX RICHINS CASE

The third suspect connected to the murder of 18-year-old Dax Richins has pleaded guilty. Nathaniel Felix entered the plea yesterday in Gooding County and is scheduled to be sentenced July 28th.

๐Ÿ› CITY PARK EXPANSION

Twin Falls is set for its first City Park expansion in more than 100 years, with construction beginning June 15th on a brand-new flagship playground. The project will add a 22-foot-tall play structure with a 14-foot slide, climbing features, swings, and ADA-accessible equipment. Future plans also include reconnecting City Park to the Twin Falls Public Library by closing part of Hansen Street to vehicle traffic.

The City of Twin Falls is inviting residents to a public input session next Tuesday to discuss Community Development Block Grant projects and future funding. Itโ€™s championship weekend for Idaho high school baseball, and the Twin Falls Bruins are the lone Magic Valley team still chasing a state title. After dropping their first regional game, the Bruins battled back with three straight wins Saturday, including beating Bishop Kelly twice to punch their ticket to state. Senior catcher Maddox Stadelmeir went 12 for 14 with three home runs, four doubles, and 11 RBI during the regional run. Twin Falls opens the 5A state tournament tomorrow afternoon against Sandpoint at Melaleuca Field in Idaho Falls.

๐ŸฅŽ CSI SOFTBALL ADVANCES

The College of Southern Idaho softball team rolled past Snow College 10 to 2 Tuesday at the Region 18 Tournament. Adi Hansen tripled and drove in three runs, while Maile Haโ€™o finished 3-for-3 with three RBI. Lexi Crowley delivered the walk-off two-run double. CSI faces Salt Lake Community College today at noon with a spot in the Region 18 Championship on the line.

Boise State football season tickets are officially on sale as the Broncos prepare for their first season in the Pac-12. Packages start at 199 dollars, with the university hoping to reach 23-thousand season ticket holders this year. Boise State opens at home September 12th against Memphis.
